INT. OPEN PLAN OFFICE - DAY

HENRY (38) is surrounded by balloons and a giant cake that reads
"GOODBYE HENRY! YOU DID IT!"

His manager LINDA (50) approaches, confused.

LINDA
Henry, what is... all of this?

HENRY
My going-away party! Three weeks notice
as requested. Done and done.

LINDA
(slowly)
I said... two weeks notice.

HENRY
Right. Three.

LINDA
Two.

HENRY
(beat)
Three is more than two. I'm being generous.

LINDA
Henry, you told every department
you were leaving. Accounting sent a card.
Legal drafted your exit agreement.
IT already wiped your laptop.

HENRY
(looking at his blank desk)
They were... very efficient.

LINDA
You don't actually have another job, do you?

HENRY
(long pause)
Define "job."
