INT. OPEN PLAN OFFICE - DAY HENRY (38) is surrounded by balloons and a giant cake that reads "GOODBYE HENRY! YOU DID IT!" His manager LINDA (50) approaches, confused. LINDA Henry, what is... all of this? HENRY My going-away party! Three weeks notice as requested. Done and done. LINDA (slowly) I said... two weeks notice. HENRY Right. Three. LINDA Two. HENRY (beat) Three is more than two. I'm being generous. LINDA Henry, you told every department you were leaving. Accounting sent a card. Legal drafted your exit agreement. IT already wiped your laptop. HENRY (looking at his blank desk) They were... very efficient. LINDA You don't actually have another job, do you? HENRY (long pause) Define "job." END OF SCENE
